![]() anyhow just pointing out that with these old tractors you are never done. (also took new rails, segments, pads) whole bunch of leaks around the torque converter that I got to spend a lot of quality time on my head reaching in there to fix those. still had trouble with trans heat so found trans pump was shot fixed that really great then final fell apart so had to fix that in the field but all good now. ran about an hour and noticed radiator was pushing coolant out, new radiator went in fixed that then injector pump had some kind of bad serious disaster that required a complete rebuild ( this was a good thing, it runs extremely well now). lost exhaust gasket backing off the lowboy when it arrived, to fix that it took a reman head, new manifold, new injectors, (turbo was shot too) water pump/all bearings in the fan drive. ![]() When I got my 6D it had a rash of stuff go blooey. ![]()
